May might just be the best month of the year for flowers. Everything’s in bloom, the colours are bold and beautiful, and the variety is honestly kind of amazing. May feels like the season has cranked the volume all the way up—and I'm here for it.
This is when we get to have the most fun with flowers. Ranunculus, in hot pink, fuschia, tangerine, bright blue tweedia, sweetpeas in pinks, peonies exploding in hot pink, viburnum in chartreuse greens, and roses in a gorgeous range of varieties.
Ranunculus is an go-to this time of year—so many layers, so much personality. So many shades! Anemones bring that bold pop with their dark centres and dramatic petals.
Sweetpeas and freesia add a soft, fluttery texture (and they both smell amazing), Lisianthus with its light rose like shape is always a favourite for its versatility. And then there are the roses—classic, but never boring, especially in these punchy colours. Fuschia, orange, ranges of pink, peach .. the list goes on!
Spring wedding florals are all about mixing it up. Bright and bold is the vibe, and there are no rules. Hot pink with orange? Yes. Lime green next to electric blue? Absolutely. Spring is made for experimenting and letting flowers do their colourful thing.
If you're a spring 2025/2026 bride interested in spring florals - drop me a message, I can't wait to chat!
